Biography

Pedrito is a professional pianist, composer and music educator based in Leeds, UK. He began playing the piano at the age of six and has been exploring music ever since, developing a style that blends technical precision with curiosity and creativity.

After studying at the Bartók Konzervatórium in Budapest, he continued his education at Leeds Conservatoire, where he earned a degree in Jazz Piano. While his formal training focused on jazz, his musical interests soon expanded far beyond a single genre.

Deeply inspired by Latin American music, he has a particular passion for salsa, bachata, merengue and cumbia. Alongside these styles, he enjoys performing and arranging jazz, funk, pop, soul, folk and world music, drawing inspiration from musical traditions from across the globe. His performances combine improvisation with expressive storytelling, creating music that is both engaging and accessible.

Whether performing on stage, collaborating with other musicians or teaching students, his goal is to share the joy, energy and diversity of music while continuing to learn from the many traditions that inspire his artistic journey.
